Our team

Discover My World ELC is owner/operated, with our owner directly involved with the service operations and financial management.

You will often see and have the opportunity to engage with Isabel (our Director) or Rob (our Finance Manager) who have a keen interest in the interactions and feedback of our team and families.

​

The ability to impact change and be responsive to the needs of our community is made possible by our amazing Leadership & Support Team.

 

Our Assistant Director is next in charge and oversees the day-to-day management of the service along side our Director. Key responsibilities include our quality improvement planning, all things compliance, as well as the support and professional development of our team. Bringing a wealth of knowledge, leadership and passion of early years education and the Early Years Learning Framework, this role ensures the service values and philosophy is upheld while maintaining a high performing service culture of passionate and skilled educators.

 

Our Service Coordinators are instrumental in all things organising and enabling! They support planning of our enrolments and events, oversee policy and procedure implementation, and ensure our educator team have everything they need to efficiently plan, program and document for children. They are also the first point of contact for families or anyone else engaging our service.

 

Our Educational Leaders oversee our program across the various rooms to ensure we are meeting the needs of all children, are inclusive in our planning and environments, and consistently deliver on the high standards or care and education you should expect from an early learning centre. They bring years of knowledge, skills and experience, are all mothers themselves, and are passionate about the educational program and all practices that underpin our daily routines and experiences for all children in our care. A key part of their role is to also coach and mentor our educator team and to be available to our families and team to meet your varying needs.

 

Our Lead Educator and Educator team work together within each of our classrooms to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child in all aspects of our days. They are the ones who will know the detail about your child’s care routines, their interests, what comforts them and what inspires their learning. We encourage all our educators to collaborate with families as part of their daily interactions , respecting parents as the primary care giver and remaining responsive to their needs.

 

Our Cooks will not only keep your children well fed and happy, but will contribute to the ongoing planning and reflections of our menu and all health and hygiene practices to ensure every child’s wellbeing is at the core of our routines and their time at our service.
